The aim of the CYBERSEC Brussels Leaders' Foresight 2020 is to give proactive guidance on how to LEAD, ENCOURAGE evidence-based desision-making, and DEVELOP cybersecurity policy statecraft in the EU and NATO.
CYBERSEC Brussels Leaders’ Foresight is an exclusive, high-level meeting that aims to discuss the activities to enhance European cybersecurity preparedness and foster a competitive IT industry. The first edition of the event took place a year ago, in 2018.
SECURING THE EUROPEAN DIGITAL DNA
The central topics of this year’s discussions will focused on the key problems and challenges identified in the takeaways from the CYBERSEC Forum 2019. Among CYBERSEC Brussels Leaders’ Foresight 2020 topics we are planning session about securing the European digital DNA with cyberdiplomacy. The question of the use of AI in the defence sector is probably one of the most heated today and will be also discussed. Another main main topic will be to analyse the tech-related factors that influence geopolitical order as well as to discuss national and international responses and identify key areas of cooperation. The critical consequences of the growing “data gravity”, increased implementation of cloud technology, and how regulatory landscape should meet this challenge in order to preserve citizens’ privacy and security will be also able in the agenda of CYBERSEC Brussels Leaders’ Foresight. The latest and the biggest CYBERSEC event, the 5th edition of European Cybersecurity Forum – CYBERSEC 2019, brought together 150 speakers and more than 1,700 delegates from all over the world.
