Līga Raita Rozentāle is the Microsoft Director of EU Policy on Cybersecurity and Security of Emerging Technologies. Līga focuses on topics ranging from digital legislation and sovereignty to global cyber norms and multilateralism. Līga currently also serves as a Special Advisor to the Latvian Mission to the UN and delegate for the Open Ended Working Group (UN OEWG) on Information and Telecommunications in the Context of International Security. Līga brings to the role her experience as the Counsellor on Cybersecurity Policy at the Latvian Permanent Representation to the EU and the Latvian Delegation to NATO and chairing the Council of the EU working parties on both telecommunications and cybersecurity. Ms. Rozentāle has also worked for the Global Cyber Alliance and James Martin Center for Non-proliferation Studies. Ms Rozentāle completed her studies at the Monterey Institute of International Studies and the University of Illinois. Ms. Rozentāle is a former UN Fellow on Disarmament. Līga is enthusiastic about enhancing and energizing public private partnership, facilitating the role of Micorsoft in Europe and driving the future of cybersecurity policy in the EU and globally.
