CYBERSEC Young Leaders

3rd edition of CYBERSEC Young Leaders

LOOKING INTO THE CYBERFUTURE THROUGH THE EYES OF YOUNG LEADERS

ABOUT CYBERSEC YOUNG LEADERS

Launched in 2018 by the Kosciuszko institute, the CYBERSEC Young Leaders initiative invites MA and PhD students to take part in a CALL FOR PAPERS addressing and analysing challenges in cyberspace within the domains of international relations, law, economics, national security or defence.

Our aim is to create a coalition of educational institutions that will support the quest of young leaders who are aware of the significance of cyber challenges and assist them in boosting their careers within the field.

HOW TO ENGAGE?

If you are a MA or PhD student and a cyber enthusiast, you can submit your paper until 15 July 2020 to editor@cybersecforum.eu. Your paper should pertain to the leitmotif of this year’s CYBERSEC edition Together Against Adversarial Internet. Digital technologies enable us to continue working, maintaining relationships, and pursue the debate on the most strategic challenges of our times. However, as with each innovation it came with new perils. Every technology, next to its primary goal of improving the well-being of societies, also has another side, enabling adversarial and malicious activities. Shaping the future of our digital world should be done with responsibility and the willingness to learn and develop a common understanding of what it takes to develop and keep using technology for good.

The best articles will be published in the European Cybersecurity Journal, a specialised open access publication devoted to cybersecurity and published by the Kosciuszko Institute. The primary goal of the Journal is to provide concrete policy recommendations for European decision-makers and raise awareness on both issues and problem-solving instruments. Readers of the ECJ get insights on the most critical trends in cybersecurity and have an opportunity to get to know first-hand perspectives from leading specialists.
